Become a United Way Caring Club Merchant Today!
Introducing United Way's Caring Club program. The Caring Club program was created to recognize and thank United Way supporters, and to drive new customers to merchants in Greater Lorain County. Caring Club members will enjoy special discounts from area merchants. Now you have the opportunity to increase visibility and drive traffic to your business at the same time.
Best of all, it costs nothing but the discount you offer.
Last year, over 3,000 United Way donors would have qualified to be members of the Caring Club based on their giving levels. As we launch this exciting new program, we hope to significantly increase that number this year.
Program Overview
- Selected merchants are asked to participate in this donor recognition program by providing a fixed discount for merchandise or services to Caring Club members.
- Eligibility for donors to join the Caring Club is a minimum annual contribution of $120.00 to the United Way of Greater Lorain County and by providing your home and email addresses.
- A personalized, credit card size Caring Club membership card will be provided to the contributor based on eligibility and will be valid for a one-year period.
- The discount card will be effective February 1, 2008 through January 31, 2009.
Benefits to Participating Merchants
- "Free" marketing to more than 80,000 people in the workplace by United Way. As a merchant, you will be featured in campaign marketing materials.
- Build relationship with other Caring Club merchants and members, gaining new business throughout the year.
- Public recognition will be given to your business when appropriate at United Way events, in the media and in United Way publications.
- Listing on United Way's website www.LorainCountyUnitedWay.org, and exposure to over 15,000 hits a month. We will also provide a link back to your web site.
- Signage will be provided to display showing your support as a Caring Club merchant.
