United Way National Day of Action
On Saturday, June 21, 2008, United Way of Greater Lorain County will be participating in a National Day of Action by facilitating the distribution of collected women’s personal care items to women in need in Lorain County. Between now and Friday, June 13th, we are asking for donations of personal care items or gift cards to purchase items that will be used for this program.
Items needed may include soap, shampoo, toothpaste, tooth brush, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, lotions, and body sprays. Some of the recipient organizations include: FAITH House, The Key, Genesis House, YWCA Women’s Campus, Elyria Health Department, Lorain Health Department, and Lorain County Health Department WIC moms, to name a few. We are hoping to be able to deliver 300+ boxes. Please help by donating to this National Day of Action project.
