The Girl Scouts - Erie Shores Council makes Camp Timberlane available for other community groups during the summer months. Resident camp staff is kept on hand to lead all of the typical camp activities. This past summer, four groups from Lorain County brought children to the camp. These groups brought a total of 178 boys and girls from age 5-12 to the camp: Horizons Day Care; Kids Inc Day Care; Little Lighthouse Learning Center; and the Boys and Girls Club.

Children that attend the camp are able to participate in swimming, boating, hiking, crafts and archery. In many cases, the children that come to the camp have little or no access to outdoor experiences. The Girl Scouts are pleased to be able to work with their fellow community organizations to bring a camp experience to these children and they look forward to hosting other children this summer.

To reserve Camp Timberlane for your group, call (440)233-6112 or 1(800)233-6119.
