The two words are not just the theme for this year’s United Way fund raising effort. Expect to see them whenever you see our United Way’s familiar caring hands logo. That’s because our mission is to do “what matters”.

Our experience tells us that to do “what matters” means getting at the root of problems. And in our County they are serious problems. Ones that tear at the fabric of family life and stunt individual growth and the community’s quality of life.
